UNL Assets

Fixed assets and depreciation, kept in one register.

UNL Assets tracks a company's physical assets and calculates depreciation for book, federal and state at the same time, with market valuations, tax reports and an accountant workspace alongside.

Why it exists

Spreadsheets lose track of three books at once.

Small businesses often keep fixed assets in spreadsheets. Book, federal and state rules drift apart, deductions get missed, and nobody has a clear picture of what the portfolio is worth. UNL Assets keeps one record per asset and derives every schedule from it.

Asset categories

Seven categories, each with sensible defaults.

How it's built

Multi-tenant from the database up.

Each company's data is isolated by row-level security in PostgreSQL, so every query is scoped to the signed-in company before application code sees it. Code that needs secrets runs only on the server.
